Arabesque panel
Wallpaper panel in arabesques on hand-painted pale blue background. Wood-block printed by Jacquemart et Bénard, successors of Reveillon (manufacture stamp on back of panel). Late 18th century (dated “11 Messidor”, Revolutionary calendar ).

One version of this paper is in the collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris . This décor was used in the historic house of Phelps Hatheway, Mass. US.
